Iðnó will come to life with Vökufélagið taking the reins. Traditional arts, music, poetry and dancing will fill every corner of Iðnó during this not-to-be-missed takeover.

Vökufélagið is dedicated to expanding and nurturing the burgeoning scene of traditional arts and cultural heritage in Iceland. The takeover will feature a wide array of events, ranging from various workshops on singing, dancing and handicraft, a discussion forum and an all-comers session and lastly a concert where outstanding artists in the field of traditional folk music will perform.
