Technicians and Photographers Needed

TECHNICIANS WANTED FOR THE REYKJAVÍK ARTS FESTIVAL HUB

The Festival Hub is looking for technicians to take care of the technical operations of its exciting programme in Iðnó in June. The position involves a total of 80 hours as a contractor and a combination of day and evening shifts, spread across the Hub‘s opening hours, 1st-16th June. The hourly pay is ISK 7.500 + VAT (ISK 9,300 with VAT).

The Festival Hub hosts a variety of events: talks, workshops, exhibitions, concerts and parties for all age groups. The Hub is also a forum for dialogue and for more informal opportunities to connect and discover new people and ideas. Festival Hub Directors are Aude Busson and Sigurður Starr.

The Hub‘s technical staff must have a good working knowledge of sound engineering and some experience with lighting, be solution-oriented and have a positive attitude.

Requirements:

  • English skills
  • Education and/or extensive experience of sound engineering
  • Experience of lighting work
  • Experience of technical work in Iðnó is an advantage

PHOTOGRAPHERS WANTED

Reykjavík Arts Festival is looking for photographers to document its exciting programme from June 1 to 16. Photographers are needed for more than 60 events that take place at different times of the day during the festival. Photographs are delivered as soon as possible to the festival's PR Manager.

  • Icelandic language skills are an advantage
