Starting point is by the rotational gate in Vífilsstaðarhlíð.
“Following a heartfelt and wholesome conversation with the self-service till at the supermarket I embarked on a walk into nature to find some answers to questions that I hadn’t even known I was grappling with …”
This interactive walkabout theatre work takes place in Heiðmörk whenever and at whatever pace that you choose. Participants walk a pre-determined route while listening to an audio play, making the surroundings a living stage for this unexpected narrative where nature, humanity and technology come together in a fragile dance.
The performing arts group (Ó)Sómi þjóðar has been creating diverse work for over a decade - for stage, radio and film. This time, the group invites us to step into nature and into ourselves.
Guests visit tryggvigunnarsson.is for instructions on how to download Locatify Smartguide and listen to the play. The first part can be played anywhere, for example by a self-service till, before moving on to Jafnréttislundur in Heiðmörk to start the walk. This event takes place in Icelandic.
