Programming and preparing for a new edition of Reykjavík Arts Festival is always an exciting process that involves a whole group of talented staff. With less than six months to go until our next edition, our fantastic festival team are gathering, some joining us part-time while others are already working full-time at the bustling festival office.

Our team is led by the ever-passionate and ambitious Artistic Director Vigdís Jakobsdóttir and Executive Director Fjóla Dögg Sverrisdóttir, who will now direct their fourth and final festival together. Returning to their previous capacity at the festival are PR Manager Kara Hergils and Editor Salka Guðmundsdóttir who both work in the performing arts. Choreographer and performing arts professional Aude Busson and legendary drag artist Siggi Starr are busy programming a sizzling Festival Hub. Percussionist Matthias Engler returns as Project Manager, having been an indispensable member of the 2022 festival team. Also joining the team as Project Managers are Ingibjörg Halldórsdóttir, founder and artistic director of documentary festival IceDocs, bassist and manager Alexander Örn Númason and Tinna Grétarsdóttir, choreographer and manager of the Dance Atelier.
